You will always be remembered Tita Cory!

An icon for democracy, a great mother and a good example of simple living.

Corazon “Cory” Aquino passed away today, August 1, 2009 after battling colon cancer. She was in pain but was never a pain for her family nor for her people.

We may never be able to see somebody like her who has done so much and who has given a lot but I’m grateful that I was able to see somebody like Tita Cory in my lifetime.

May the democracy that she helped restore in the Philippines continue and may we Filipinos never forget that indeed “the Filipinos are worth dying for!”
